At St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School, our term dates are set to ensure every child receives a full, carefully sequenced year of learning. We emphasise that being in school every day and on time is vital. Regular attendance enables pupils to benefit from high‑quality teaching, maintain strong routines, and feel fully included in our calm, orderly and nurturing Catholic community. Missing time—whether through lateness or absence—means missing learning that cannot be repeated. We request that our families plan ahead using published term dates, avoid term‑time absence, and work with us to ensure every child starts each day ready to learn, grow and thrive.
