What is Extended School?
Extended School is the collective term we use for the ‘out of school hours’ clubs that provide support by offering affordable childcare all year round.
These clubs include:
- Breakfast Club
- After School Club

Our ‘After School Club’ aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment enabling all children to learn and develop their attitudes, skills and abilities. We also aim to work with children, parents, carers and staff to share experiences ensuring we provide the best possible care and service for the children. We provide a range of activities to relax children after a hard day of learning. Every day we have a different creative and sporting activity so each session is different to the next. We provide a healthy snack , which the children often help to prepare themselves.
Children will have a lot to look forward to each week with our high-quality care that enables children to learn through play, meet new friends and most importantly have fun in a safe setting. Our daily schedule includes an exciting new activity program that allows children to enjoy;
- action-packed multi-sports
- fun movement-based activities and challenges
- opportunities to explore creativity and express themselves
- practising life skills through a wide range of learning experiences
- child-led discovery sessions
- wellbeing activities that promote happiness, mindfulness and kindness
- themed days and celebrations that deliver a range of multi-cultural exploration, activity inspiration and engaging team challenges that will add a depth to children’s learning beyond the school curriculum.

| Late Collection | It is very important that we respect each others time and it is essential for parents / carers to collect children on time.
In the first instance, there would be an expectation that the club is notified of your anticipated late arrival. If you are then late to collect your child / children, we will advise you that it is unacceptable and will remind the collecting adult that if they are late for a second time then unfortunately, a charge of £1 per minute will be incurred. If there is a reoccurrence of a late collection, the collecting adult will be informed of the number of minutes that they are late and the late fee that is expected to be paid. The expectation is that the late fee will be paid prior to the club being accessed again. If this becomes a persistent issue, After School Club provision is likely to be withdrawn. |
We are unable to accept cash payments. All payments are to be made in advance and by processing your payment via the School Gateway app will secure your booking.

After School Club requires a booking. Unfortunately, you will be charged if you do not cancel your booking 24hours in advance of the scheduled booking.
