St Cuthbertâs Catholic Primary School is committed to ensuring that every member of our community â pupils, families, staff and visitors â can access our school environment safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Our school building was constructed in 2019, with the school community moving into the new premises in January 2020. The building is singleâstorey, providing level access throughout, with all entrances and exits designed to support safe and independent movement for individuals with mobility needs.
Accessible Facilities
- Adult accessible toilets â Two fully accessible adult toilets are available on site, enabling adults with disabilities or longâterm health conditions to use facilities independently and safely.
- Pupil accessible toilets â Each pupil toilet block includes an accessible toilet:
- Early Years
- Key Stage 1
- Both in Key Stage 2
These facilities ensure that children with additional needs can access toilets comfortably and with appropriate support where required.
- Accessible parking bays â Two designated accessibility parking bays are located in the school car park. These wider spaces are positioned close to the main entrance to support visitors with mobility difficulties or disabilities.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
We strive to ensure that St Cuthbertâs is a welcoming, inclusive and fully accessible environment. If you anticipate any difficulties that may affect your visit â whether related to mobility, sensory needs, health conditions or any other accessibility requirement â the Governors warmly encourage you to contact the school in advance.
We will work with you to identify and implement reasonable adjustments wherever possible, ensuring your visit is safe, comfortable and fully supported.
