“…Prayer should accompany the reading of Sacred Scripture, so that God and man may talk together; for “we speak to Him when we pray; we hear Him when we read the divine saying” (DEI VERBUM – Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation, 25)
In preparation for the National Eucharistic Congress to be held in Liverpool in September, the children gathered together for a collective worship to pay special attention to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. They learnt in particular on the importance of having a holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament. They gained an understanding of the special place Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament holds in our faith can be found through Catholic Tradition.
We joined together as a school community to live our lives in Adoration of the Eucharist.
